Located in the Royal Academy of Art in the centre of Stockholm, Fredsgatan 12 is one of the hippest restaurants in town. The atmosphere is stylish and sophisticated whilst also managing to be friendly and informal.

The menu at Fredsgatan 12 is creative, ambitious and packed full of unpredictable flavours. It is divided in to traditional and innovative and takes its inspiration from all over the world. Chef Danyel Couet has created an eleven course tasting menu that changes every month to ensure the ingredients are seasonal. The lunch menu is also highly recommended.

The wine menu at this fashionable restaurant is excellent and contains wines such as the André Ostertag Riesling, the Thierry Allemand Cornas or the Alain Brumont Madiran vieilles vignes.

Head to Fredsgatan 12 if you’re up for something a bit different. Sip your drink on the terrace and prepare for your taste buds to be pleasantly surprised.

Excellent restaurant but a little expensive

I really enjoyed my visit to F12 restaurant but even so I found it to be a little to expensive. The menu was great and so was the service but there was something "extra" missing I felt. I have some friends that also visited but they loved it.
