One of Stockholm´s hidden gems is the Archipelago that stretches over 60km out from the city. With more than 30.000 islands and skerries the area is a wonder to visit on one of the available boat excursions.

Only a small percentage of the many islands are inhabited leaving the others as green and sandy retreats.

The two largest towns in the Archipelago are Gustavsburg and Vaxholm and are popular destinations for those lucky ones who get a chance to visit this magnificent area.
